How to learn a new language?

This is one of the most typical and tricky question that everyone has ever suffered from in the global era. I suffered a lot too, but learned my own ways to pick up new lanuages after all those years spent on practicing Vietnamese and English while living in Korea for the past years. Of course, I am not a native speaker, native writer, but because of that, I can share my own insights as a foreigner.

Just Listen to Radio as if you are in the country.

For me, it has been very important to make an environment where I expose myself as much as I could to the verbal language that I am going to learn and use. So, as many times as I could I tried listening to radio programs that interested me the most no matter how I could listen and comprehend the contents. Of course, you don’t catch all the words while spearkers are spitting words so rapidly on the program, but at least you can grab some of words pouring out and find the meanding of them to guess what is being talked about on the show. If you just repeat this routine about 10 minutes per day while you commute back and forth, you will find yourself improved everday.

Then, repeat after the speakers just as you hear

From the first step training, a number of words will be stored in you brain storage, then you need to use them for the real speech. But It’s really akward just for a person to make sentences in foreign languages because they are not yet used to it. So, what needs to be done here at this stage is repeating after any speakers coming out on the radio. Just follow what ever you just hear from them. It could be stupid and even akward to do that but it really works out.

What about reading?

Fortunately, we are living in the digital world, so almost everything is ready for us to enjoy like online articles, videos, magazines, social media. Whatever they are you can just open it up in your small handy mobile phone to read and watch. Everythin depends on how you orgarnize your time in the daily life, you can just squander away every single minute or you can have lots os opportunities for learning new things in a minute. Just Keep Reading Things coming at handy.

What about writing?

Foremost and first, do not ever fear writing things in your mind. Just picture them and visualize them, and put them out in something visual in reality. It could be a letter, a summary, a texting, a diary, a message. The form of writing isn’t important than the form of your attitude. More typos and more misses make your writing better and better. Express yourself, what you think, what are dreaming everyday.

I hope this articel would help someout out there with learning new languages anywhere in the world.

I love problem solving and hate repetition of tedious tasks. I like automating, streamlining, optimizing, things.
